Landsker first worked with this client in 2009 and has since, carried out five subsequent pieces of work, in addition to ongoing support. At the outset, the company had eight employees and an opportunity to import a branded product to become the sole UK distributor. They required an initial feasibility study, focusing on cash flow to enable advance shipping from overseas. Once feasibility was proven, subsequent support was required to fund and grow the company.
Landsker developed a feasibility study and a detailed financial projection template, with interactive assumptions to quickly identify sensitivity and different scenarios. From here, we developed a business plan to help chart the direction of the business and to support various funding applications. Continual advisory support including meetings with banks and other funders, enabled our client to access over £2.5million to support the project. Landsker also advised on the business’ training and development requirements, to support rapid growth through the Workforce Development Programme
Landsker’s support has helped this business to grow (and manage this growth) from 8 staff in 2009 to over 50 in 2015, with revenue growth of 10 fold in this period and likely to further treble in the next 5 years.
