Every day this week we will be hiding Pudsey somewhere on our website. For every person that finds Pudsey, Landsker will donate £5 to Children in Need, and £1 for every social share and retweet of our campaign.
All winners will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win Afternoon Tea for Two at The Grove Hotel, Narberth.
To enter, send a private message via Facebook or Twitter, or alternatively email: email@example.com
The Landsker team have decided to make an extra special effort this year in the name of Children in Need. Changing the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK, many private sector organisations, like Landsker, generously allow staff the time and resources for raise money this worthy cause. So how can we help?
As people are aware, a significant amount of time and effort is involved in fundraising for events. With this in mind, Landsker have decided to make it easy for people to get involved and do their bit for charity with our ‘Find Pudsey’ campaign. However, with 25% of our work taking place in the third sector, this contribution is merely an application of the principles we teach day in day out across Wales.
Landsker is not a charity, but through funding bodies such as the Wales Co-operative Centre we have, and continue to, help third sector organisations by offering a large range of business support. We are currently working on a business plan for a community based vocational training provider, completing the required documents for a grant for a new sports facility in mid Wales, engaging in a major community consultation for a community backed green energy trust and liaising with the board of a community group to improve their governance framework. A lot of this work is vital in helping ‘close the gap’ between third sector and private sector organisations, and is fundamental for the long term success and sustainability of any organisation.
Landsker thrives on helping all businesses start-up and grow, but our work in the third sector is by far the most rewarding (cheesy we know). We welcome the opportunity to assist any third sector organisation that may need business support, and encourage anyone to get in touch for a quick discussion, to outline what help may be available for their organisation. However, for now please show your support to Children in Need and get searching for Pudsey! GO!
